Program
Organization & Schedule
The
During the conference week twenty participants present their Ph.D. projects. They are thematically arranged into panels according to the field of study and academic discipline. Presentations are scheduled for each day. Participants are requested to prepare a twenty-minute presentation of their research project which will be followed by a forty-minute discussion session. In addition, experts from various fields are invited to hold workshops and a panel discussion.
Accommodation & Travel
The HCA Spring Academy takes place at the Curt and Heidemarie Engelhorn Palais.
The historic building presents ideal conditions for the conference: located in the old city center of Heidelberg at the Hauptstrasse 120 within short walking distance to the University’s facilities and offering well-equipped conference rooms.
The HCA covers accommodation which also includes breakfast. However, travel costs cannot be covered by the HCA. We ask participants to make their own travel arrangements.
Thanks to the generous support of HCA benefactor Herbert A. Jung, we have a small Travel Fund available to cover travel expenses for participants registered and residing in developing and soft-currency countries.
